Meet Ben Deverman, a Partner Success Manager (and person behind BenDesk!).

What brought you to CTA? 
CTA’s mission of providing high-quality and affordable data infrastructure and solutions is near and dear to me. I have worked with progressive data and tools since 2016, and it's exciting to see how far the space has come with the vast amount of improvements and resources available. But there’s still so much left to do, and CTA is in a perfect position to lead this work!

In 5 words or less, what do you do at CTA? 
Onboard and support our partners.

What’s your proudest work accomplishment? 
This is a tough question! I'm proud of all the teams I've worked with over the years and feel fortunate to contribute to this field. However, if I had to choose one accomplishment, it would be the 2018 election cycle in South Dakota. During that year, we had more legislative candidates running for office than the Republicans, and we were within reach of winning the Governor's race. Even though we didn't win the race, it was amazing to be a part of such a historic effort in my home state.

What’s something on your desk or your workspace that inspires you?
My desk is pretty bare, but my office is full of different trinkets! I have a small box full of political buttons, bumper stickers, and other knick-knacks of the candidates and campaigns I’ve worked for over the years. After each cycle, I go through the box to revisit old memories and add new items to keep growing the collection.

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? 
Salted caramel!

Any hidden talents we should know about? 
After having a child, I discovered I have a talent for putting kids to sleep, even on tough days when they refuse to sleep!
