Meet Shoham, Solutions Engineer

What brought you to CTA?

CTA's mission of not reinventing the wheel and helping folks get the data infrastructure they need really spoke to me as a timely and meaningful mission for our space. I also had the chance to work with the CTA team at a previous job, and really enjoyed the organizational culture and energy.

In 5 words or less, what do you do at CTA? 

Thoughtful problem-solving.

What’s your proudest work accomplishment? 

I've learned a lot of new skills on the fly, from finagling messy file uploads to building mini data pipelines! Most of my work is in support of CTA partners, either for troubleshooting or helping them build new things in PAD, and it's been rewarding to see all the cool things we've helped partners create: from supporting on database setup and design, to building out reporting, to co-creating custom workflows and other automations.

What’s something on your desk or your workspace that inspires you? 

My cat is often sleeping behind my laptop - she is a great work buddy (and she knocks anything else on my desk off!)

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? 

Anything with hot fudge on it.

Any hidden talents we should know about? 

Courtesy of many summers as a camp counselor, I can make pretty elaborate braided lanyards.
