Reflecting on 3 Years

3 weeks until Election Day, and 3 years since I founded CTA. Where does the time go?

At such an urgent, frenetic time, it’s hard to take a step back to take stock. But I want to dive deeply into the gratitude I feel for CTA’s team and partners for the last 3 years of Prog-ress.

In 2021, I set out to build a technology and data strategy team that could build great product, and create enough scale and elasticity to be able to uplift our partner’s impact, with space to fill gaps at the most critical moments. There were a lot of skeptics at the time, but we forged ahead anyway.

3 years in, and the hypothesis is bearing out in two critical ways: 1) Our products scale. PAD and Hopper have 75+ partners and hundreds of users managing data every day (and night). 2) Urgent partner gaps have come out of left field (literally), and our team is able to build upon our experience — and our products — to be able to deliver smart, timely solutions. Not only is our platform ingesting AVEV data hourly, we’re also helping organizations we care about create smart GOTV strategies with that data.

Our team is incredible. 3 years ago, I set out to build the place I wanted to work, and it turns out the place I wanted to be was among smart, kind, dedicated people. It’s the Proggers that make CTA possible, and my unending gratitude goes out to each and every one who has been on this ride so far. We don’t always get everything right, but our team is tenacious, creative, fun, and driven by our values — and that is everything.

When I have a chance to catch my breath, I’m looking forward to 2025 and the continuation of everything CTA has accomplished already. We’re excited to continue scaling smart technology, adding new data packages and features, and expanding our architecture consulting portfolio. With 3+ years of mission-driven service, CTA will continue to dedicate ourselves to the needs of the movement. Thank you to all those who have shown your support!
